Doras designed an intercultural awareness training programme for people working in frontline services. Six training sessions in total have been delivered to date, with more than 60 participants from the local authority and the Department of Social Protection.

The training aims to build the capacity of frontline staff to promote equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The training programme was designed to encourage dialogue and discussion between participants using world cafe methodology, and to encourage participants to identify potential changes to implement in their own personal and professional lives.

The feedback received from participants to date has been very positive and we hope to continue to provide this training to service providers into the future.
